Statistics: Russia’s inflation at zero in Jun 4–Monday

MOSCOW, Jun 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation stood at zero from June 4 through Monday and reached 2.4% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Thursday.

In the reported week, prices for rice, millet and sour cream rose by 0.3%, buckwheat, cheese and meat preserves by 0.2%

Egg prices fell by 2%, sugar prices by 0.7%, pork 0.2%, chicken and sunflower seed oil by 0.1%.

Fruit and vegetable prices decreased 1.2% on average.

Gasoline prices rose 0.3% and diesel fuel prices remained virtually unchanged.
